Call for Volunteers- 2026 Charter Review Committee

The City is seeking nine (9) volunteers to serve on the 2026 Charter Review Committee.

The Charter Review Committee is responsible for evaluating the City Charter and preparing a report of recommended changes for presentation to the City Commission. All Committee meetings are open to the public.

Eligibility & Meeting Information:

  • Members must be registered voters of the City of South Pasadena

  • Meetings are scheduled by the Committee and may be held during the day, in the evening, or both

  • Meeting lengths will vary based on the discussion needs of the Committee

Application Process:
Residents interested in serving should submit an application:

Applications must be received no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, February 27th.

Additional Details:

  • Appointment of members is scheduled for the March 10, 2026 Regular Commission Meeting

  • The review process is tentatively scheduled from mid-March through May

Residents are encouraged to consider this opportunity to participate in local governance and contribute to the review of the City Charter.
