City Clerk, Director of Administration
Serving the public and the City Commission, the Administration Department is the primary contact for the City of South Pasadena.
Primary Responsibilities
General Administrative Matters- Ordinance, Resolution and Agenda preparation
- Recording and noticing of Commission meetings
- Contracts, including application of bid procedures and administration of contracts
- Legal advertising
- The release of any and all official notices to the press or other news media
- Codification
- Human resources
- All duties not specifically assigned to one of the other departments
- Gathering, sorting and maintaining of City records
- Making City records available to City Departments and the public
- Maintenance of records through the State
- Conducts municipal elections
- Contracts and coordinates information with the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections
- Assists candidates in preparing necessary qualifying information
