While at the conference, Vice Mayor Reid, Commissioner McAlees, and Commissioner Thompson attended educational sessions and presentations on challenges and opportunities facing municipalities today including DOGE processes, energy efficiency, public safety, and the use of AI.

Vice Mayor Reid served on the Nominating Committee and participated in Joint Policy Committee meetings focused on potential property tax changes and their impact on cities. He also participated in Board of Directors meetings and was re-elected to the Board for a second year.
