Community Improvement Department Activity Update

The South Pasadena Community Improvement Department continues to address storm recovery processes including substantial damage determinations and increased permitting activity as efficiently as possible. To facilitate the review and issuance of permits, the Community Improvement Department recently modified the hours in which it is open to the public. The office will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The remaining hours of operation will be utilized for internal processes to expedite the issuance of permits.  

In response to the City’s previous requests for staffing help from the State of Florida, two office personnel have been onsite assisting with paperwork and answering phones. The City continues to request additional assistance in the form of inspectors and plan reviewers.
