Get Ready for Hurricane Season: Dispose of Hazardous Waste Safely
Hurricane season starts June 1. Now is the time to safely dispose of household hazardous waste.
Items like old gasoline, paint, oil, and batteries can become dangerous during storms by leaking, catching fire, or causing pollution. Removing them now helps protect homes and neighborhoods.
Drop them off at the free collection event:

Can’t make it? Visit a Pinellas County Household Waste Center:
• St. Pete: Tues–Fri + 1st & 3rd Saturdays, 7 AM–5 PM
• Clearwater: Select Saturdays, 9 AM–2 PM
