Recycling: Where does it go?
Addresses ending in even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6, 8): Tuesdays
Addresses ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9): Thursdays
Mixed or No Address (such as common areas, entry areas/office complexes, shopping centers and other “no address” locations): Thursdays
Watering hours are reduced to 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. or 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Properties less than one acre in size may only use one of these windows. Properties one acre or larger can use both windows.

City Code Section 169-25 (B) - Specific prohibitions. Any discharge to the stormwater system containing sewage, oil or petroleum products, grass clippings, fertilizers, paints or paint solvents, industrial waste or other waste materials or containing any materials in violation of federal, state, county or municipal laws, rules, regulations, orders or permits is prohibited.

Recycling: Where does it go?
Potable Water Use Rules
- Aesthetic fountains and other water features are prohibited. Residential car washing is prohibited.
- Charity car washes are prohibited.
- Commercial car wash operations are allowed.
- Cars for sale or lease may not be routinely washed; they may be washed immediately prior to sale or lease.
- Pressure washing conducted by commercial businesses is allowed for certain purposes which include:

- cleaning to eliminate a safety hazard,
- preparation for painting or similar activity,
- maintaining a paint or material warranty, and
- as needed to meet federal, state or local health and safety standards.
- Restaurants and public dining facilities shall serve water to customers only upon customer request.
- Government facilities, common areas in malls, lobbies of multi-tenant office buildings, and similar public spaces using cooling towers or other water-based cooling must keep the temperature at or above 78 degrees Fahrenheit. There are exemptions for health and safety, such as hospital facilities.
- Wasteful and unnecessary water use is prohibited.
- Use of an automatic shutoff device is required when hand-watering plants.
- Watering-in of lawn chemicals is allowed within District guidelines.
- Cleaning and maintenance of an irrigation system is limited to once a month. An attendant must be present.
- Boat washing and motor flushing is allowed after usage.

Restrictions under Phase III
In addition to continued one-day-per-week watering, the following restrictions will go into effect April 3, 2026:
- No HOA or other entity shall enforce deed restrictions or other community standards requiring an increase in water use, including replacement of plant material to meet aesthetic standards or pressure washing.
- Car washing at home (non-commercial) is only allowed on your lawn watering day and you must use a hose with a shutoff nozzle.
- Ornamental fountains are limited to four hours a day. The regular hours of operation can be selected by the owner but must be posted.
- Restaurants are required to only serve water upon request.
